Why MU-metal?
Because of it’s very high relative permeability, Mu-metal is the ideal construction material for vacuum chambers that shield the experimental zone from the earth’s magnetic field. We can advise customers on Mu-metal thicknesses, diameter/length ratios and additional strengthening elements.
